Reading Period Begins	Tucson Residency	Project Due
Class begins - Reading & independent study period Dec. 22, 2008 to January 2, 2009	Face to face class meeting in Tucson January 3-9, 2009	Final project to be submitted electronically January 13, 2009

This course is an example of what SIRLS calls a hybrid course. It consists of three parts:

An independent study period, running from Dec. 22, 2008 to January 2, 2009.
7 days face-to-face classes in Tucson, January 3-9, 2009.
A wrap-up period during which students complete their assignments. The class ends on January 13, 2009.
