Distance & Virtual Learning

SIRLS offers one master's degree, the MA with a major in Information Resources and Library Science. Students living at a distance are part of the same program as students living in Tucson, but they take coursework in course delivery modes that are "distance-friendly," including:

• Virtual courses, taught in an online course environment
• Hybrid courses, including a combination of intensive face-to-face meetings and pre- or post- work, often in a virtual environment.

The variety of course delivery modes makes it possible to pursue the SIRLS master's degree without living in Tucson.
